The making of sudievu.lt
Every version of this site, photographed the same way, plays as one film. Below are six moments from it.

This is no measure of how long your site would take. Many things were tried at once here, so yours would come together much faster.

Build 27 25 August
A name, a line and one button
The first version: a name, one line and a button. Even then the site had two jobs: show how a booking website is built, and sell one to a property owner.
-
Before 129After 315 1 September – 1 October
A whole holiday-home website you can try
This is the front page of a real, live website, with the house’s facts replaced. Beside it works the owner’s admin. It all runs in your own browser, so you can press things and see for yourself.
-

Build 175 3 September
Every client gets a private page
A client’s page shows their project: notes both sides can see, files, and invoices with a payment link. Since October it installs on a phone and sends alerts. The alert never shows what the note or file says.
-

Build 331 2 October
Two client sites, off WordPress
I rebuilt two client sites without WordPress and counted that everything came across. Hortus: 173 of 173 pages and 902 of 902 files. In Favorem: 23 of 23 pages and 78 of 78 images.

Build 360 5 October
My own server, and nightly copies
Since 5 October this site runs on my own server. A change that would break it is stopped before it reaches the live site. Sites on the server are copied every night, kept in three places, and the restore has been tested.

Build 530 17 October
The home page, one calm scroll
The start is now one headline and the buttons to the main places, with everything else below as you scroll. Between pages a loading screen stays up until the next page is fully ready, so you never see one half-built.
